cursor.allowPartialResults()

Important

mongo Shell Method

This page documents the mongo shell method, and does not refer to the MongoDB Node.js driver (or any other driver) method. For corresponding MongoDB driver API, refer to your specific MongoDB driver documentation instead.

When used with db.collection.find() operations against a sharded collection, returns partial results, rather than an error, if one or more queried shards are unavailable.

The cursor.allowPartialResults() method has the following syntax:

db.collection.find(<query>, <projection>).allowPartialResults()
←  cursor.allowDiskUse()cursor.batchSize() →
