Important

To perform an SES service action, you must have rules set up for the action.

send

Sends an email message to a specified address.

The send action stage has the following syntax:

In the stages, the action arguments can make use of variables (%%vars) defined for the stage as well as defined constants and expansions.

The send action takes the following arguments:

Argument Type Description
fromAddress string The sender’s email address.
toAddress string The recipient’s email address.
subject string The subject of the email.
body string The body of the message.
